Heel pain is one of the most common complaints we treat at Total Podiatry.

The causes are varied but often it is due to ligament strain, nerve entrapment or stress reactions to the bone itself. In children it can be due to a section of the heel where the bone has not yet fused.

Patients typically respond to conservative treatments once the biomechanical cause is correctly identified, but if left untreated these conditions can progress to more complicated conditions and requiring more invasive techniques.
